Study on the Evaluation Technique of Search Engines

Search engines are important tools for web information retrieval.The scientific evaluation of the quality of search engines not only assists and encourages search engine operators to improve their standards of service but also promotes the development of search engine technique.This paper gives the evaluation of the development of search engine technique,analyzes the tasks and standards of search engine evaluation,and presents the personal opinions about the development and the emphasis of search engine evaluation.
