Interpretation on the Strategies of STEM Talent Cultivation in American Universities

The talent cultivation of basic science disciplines will profoundly affect the future development of our society. Nowadays the education of these fields in our country are not optimistic. The STEM field has been built to develop basic science disciplines in America, and strategies such as reformation of curriculums, development of faculty, setting education partnership and institutional support were implemented. These strategies demonstrate that the American university has been taking focus on improving students＇ learning and inquiring ability, integrating the learning content of STEM disciplines in faculty development, and implementing it as a system engineering. Significant experience is provided for the talent cultivation of our country in the same fields.
