| Abstract: | This article presents the situation of Japan in the field of energy saving and environmental protection in recent years, from national policy guidance to the active participation of local governments and private companies in building new smart community. It introduces a number of key technologies specifically, such as new energy utilization, energy management system, smart grid, electric vehicles and the new type transport system which is applied in the smart community. In addition, it also describes the situation of standardization promotion in this field in Japan. |
