| Abstract: | Portal vein thrombosis is a rare pathology. The etiopathogenetic causes that most frequently lead to this pathology are myeloproliferative syndromes. The authors present a case of acute pre-hepatic portal vein thrombosis and discuss its etiopathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy. |
