Abstract:Aiming to provide useful service and support for improving the level of water environment treatment, concerning the reality of insufficient water environment information system, the paper introduces the designing ideas, implementation techniques, and application scenarios of the water environmental information supporting system. The water environmental treatment database is constructed based on GIS. The environmental information supporting system compromises the techniques of GIS, database, environmental simulation and performance evaluation. It can be used for the subsystems to manage all the elements. It simulates, forecasts, and evaluates the treatment effect by using water environmental models and performance evaluation technique. The environmental information supporting system meets the requirement of water information management, treatment technique inquiries, supporting decision-making, performance evaluation and information visualization, and provides consulting service including planning, designing and evaluating. The target and general structure of the water environmental system that can be used to manage water information, support decision-making and evaluate performance, are introduced based on GIS, environmental and evaluating techniques in order to provide useful reference for water environmental treatment system.
