摘    要:针对多电平变换器PWM信号通道多和PWM信号同步的问题,提出了一种基于PWMIP核的多路PWM发生器的设计方法。利用搭积木(Building Blocks)的方法即可方便构建任意路PWM发生器。所有PWM信号采用同一个时基,并且每路PWM均有独立的控制寄存器,容易实现PWM信号的严格同步和不同调制策略。该发生器具有友好的接口,以简化与DSP或MCU等控制芯片的接口设计。最后,设计了一个适用于三相三电平级联变换器的24路PWM发生器,实验结果表明了该设计方法的简洁性和实用性。

Abstract:Due to the large number of PWM channels required in multi-level converter and their synchronization problems, this paper presents a simple method to configure multi-PWM generator based on PWM IP (Intellectual Property) core using building block approach. Each PWM channel has same time base and the control registers of its own. Thus it can be set individually to realize synchronization of PWM signals and different modulation strategies easily. The generator has very friendly interface to receive settings and commands from micro-controller units (MCU) or digital signal processors (DSP). A 24-PWM generator is designed for three-phase-three-level cascaded inverter to verify the correction of the proposed method. Experimental results show the conciseness and effectiveness of the proposed design method.
