Abstract:Based on the characteristics of parabolic trough solar thermal power generation technology,summarizes the main forms of parabolic trough collectors and heat transfer fluid.Under the same external conditions,analyses the system configurations,impact of power generation and economic calculation of different schemes using Euro Trough with conventional biphenyl/diphenyl oxide and Ultimate Trough with silicone oil.Through the comparative analysis of the two schemes,the impact of the Ultimate Trough with silicone oil scheme on improving the economy of the parabolic trough solar thermal power generation technology are given.A way of thinking for improving the economy of the parabolic trough solar thermal power generation technology are given.
