Multi-Period Process Industry Modeling System (PPIMS) can be used in optimized application of limited resources. Based on the case in Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company (ZRCC),the paper introduced the development and application of PPIMS in terms of providing reference for decision making like optimum sourcing, planning compilation, scheme optimum, process flow, de-bottlenecking etc. One of the result show that the higher of worldwide crude price, the bigger of its price difference between high-sulfur and low-sulfur crude. Hopefully this experience can provide enlightens for promoting PPIMS in refining enterprises.
