Energy-saving and emission-reduction of power enterprises:an important strategic measure of China

Considering the increasing limitations of resource and environment factors to the sustainable development of national economy,China proposed the national strategy of energy-saving and emission-reduction for the sake of long-term benefits of the country.The indices were set up,which require the energy consumption per unit of GDP reduce 20% and the emission of main pollutants reduce 10% during the "Eleventh Five-Year" period.The status quo of energy utilization in China is presented,and the importance of energy-saving and emission-reduction of power enterprises is analyzed.Several measures to promote power enterprises to save energy and reduce emission are proposed.
