Analysis and Application of the Force Characteristic Curve of Automotive Power Steering Gear

With the analysis of the force characteristic curve of automotive power steering gear, the steering characteristic of automotive at high speed or low speed was found out. According to the requirements, the valve structure which will effect the steering force was designed and analyzed. Through summary and citing the example, to prove the valve with suitable structure can meet the needs of the steering force characteristics of different models, different speed. Then, some problems of the steering force characteristic curve were analyzed, the struc- ture design parameter which is easy and comfort to operate was found out, also satisfy the requirements.
