| Abstract: | Several key problems in application of the hybrid model testing technique for deep sea platforms are investigated.These problems comprise the following such as the implement procedure of the hybrid model testing technique;how to select the truncated water depth and the model scale factor;what kind of characteristics should the computer software used for numerical reconstruction & extrapolation have;how to adjust the correlative hydrodynamic parameters during the numerical reconstruction;what kind of problems should be paid attention to when using the results from the hybrid model testing technique. |
