| Abstract: | A new method of laser-saturated fluorescence shot-to-shot concentration measurement is proposed. The method is based on use of the wing effect of a nonuniform laser irradiance. The measurement is independent of both the collisional transfer rate and variation in laser power. If the laser power is known it is also a method of measurement of the collisional transfer rate at any pressure. |
