| Abstract: | Plastic deformation in ring rollling with open groove is analysed in use of upper bound method, the expressions of roll force and torque in ring rolling are derived, and the relations of the roll force and torque to feed velocity in ring rolling are explained. The formulae of roll force and torque are verified by ring rolling experiment. |
