铌硅锰非均匀形核表面淀积掺杂PTC陶瓷

摘    要:采用非均匀形核表面淀积法,在水热钛酸钡纳米晶粉体表面包覆Nb、Si、Mn,实现了Nb、Si、Mn与钛酸钡(BT)粉体的均匀混合。研究了掺杂量和烧结制度对PTC陶瓷性能的影响。结果表明,通过表面包覆工艺进行Nb掺杂的BT,在1 220℃已半导化,在1 250℃烧结的x(Nb)为0.18%的BT陶瓷,其ρ25为4.3?.cm,β为1.7。通过控制冷却速率,可以改变陶瓷的升阻比(β)。1 260℃烧结的Nb、Si、Mn掺杂BT陶瓷的ρ25为8.5Ω.cm、β比单纯Nb掺杂提高至4.9。

Abstract:Niobium oxalate,manganese nitrate and n-ethyl silicate were coated on hydrothermally-synthesized barium titanate powders by a heterogeneous nucleation surface deposition method,leading to the homogeneous mixing of Nb2O5,MnO2,SiO2 and BT powders.Effects of doped amount and sintering conditions on the properties of the PTC ceramics were studied.Obtained results show that with a surface coating method Nb-doped BT ceramic sintered at 1 220 ℃ becomes a semiconductor,ρ25 of 0.18 % Nb-doped BT ceramic is as low as 4.3 Ω.cm and the jump range of ceramics can be changed by the control of cooling rate during sinter.ρ25 of Nb-Mn-Si-doped BT ceramics sintered at 1 260 ℃ is 84.5 Ω·cm and the jump range is increased from 1.7 to 4.9.
