| Abstract: | An effect of liquid viscosity on gas velocity of flooding point in a structure packed column is studied.An improved correlation of flooding point is presented based on correlation of flooding point of structured packing in literature.With the new correlation, a gas velocity of flooding point of other systems can be estimated according to experimental data of flooding point of air water.Calculated data based on new correlation that is more accurate than Bain Hougen equation are in good agreement with experimental data. |
