| Abstract: | Introduces the recent progress on IMS standardization, analysizes the characters of IMS applications, and summarizes the globally commercial deployments of IMS with detailed use cases. Then points out that IMS deployment will take a rational strategy due to the competition between IMS and Internet technology, the final survivor will rely on the investment return, the user preference for application experience and the marketing requirement. |
