| Abstract: | Based on an introduction of the working principals of generator transverse differential protection and CTB protection designed for one hydropower plant, a detailed analysis was made on the causes for abnormal generator transverse differential protection and on the treatment procedures. Suggestions are also put forward to prevent this kind of fault. |
