Application of contact angle method for measuring cleanness of solid surface

The basic principle of contact angle method for measuring the cleanness of solid surface was presented.Various ways to measure the contact angle,including angle measurement way and height measurement way(droplet way and equilibrium drop way)were introduced.Factors that effect the preciseness of contact angle measurement are the roughness of the solid surface.The change of temperature and equilibrium time effect the contact angle slightly.The application of angle measurement method in production operation can be classified as water drop method,water film method and water spray method.The uses of this method in determining the cleanness of solid objects and assessment of cleaning operation ways were discussed.
