Abstract: | ABSTRACT This paper presents an interactive software implementation of the single machine, infinite bus power system. All the methods of analysis for the power system transient stability have been integrated in the software. The software is specifically useful for power engineers to comprehend the transient stability methods. A distinctive feature of this package is the user-friendly method for problem definition. Problems are defined by selecting options from menus without typical editor-like entry approach, as used in other mathematical software, which normally have their own strict syntax. On-line graphics capability, to enhance the comprehension of concepts, have been incorporated. |
