基于掺铒光纤的长周期光纤光栅滤波器的研究

摘    要:研究了基于掺铒光纤的长周期光纤光栅的纤芯基模、包层模式的有效折射率随波长的变化关系,及两者之间耦合后的透射谱线.结果表明,直接在掺铒光纤上制作长周期光纤光栅与其他光纤相比同样可以达到滤波效果,并且同种类型光纤之间的熔接耦合损耗要小于不同种光纤之间的熔接耦合损耗.

Abstract:Dependences of effective indices for fundamental core mode and cladding mode on the wavelength, and the transmittance spectra after coupling are studied. It is found that the same filtering effect as the other fibers could be achieved by manufacturing the LPG based on erbium-doped fiber directly, also the fusion and coupling loss between the same kinds of erbiumdoped fibers is smaller than that between the erbium-doped fibers and the other fibers.
