An Automatic Focusing System forProcessing Signal with Single-Chip Microprocessor

An automatic focusing system based on signal processing with single-chip micro-processor is introduced. Through analog filtering for the video signal provided by CMOS image sensor, the single-chip microprocessor samples, analyzes and controls motor to rotate lens to a location where the focus is clear. The system has the advantages of low power consumption, small, lightweight and quickly focusing, etc. The system can be applied to a number of information household electrical appliances and common industrial control cases. The key techniques of the system are analyzed and discussed, the experimental results are also given.
