Abstract: | Considering the characteristics of steel-concrete composite small box girder bridges design and accelerated construction, four steel-concrete composite beams with different layout of group studs were tested, and the numerical model was established. Taking the nonlinear effects of material and contact into consideration, the behaviors from elastic to ultimate loading were analyzed. The load-deflection curve, the load-strain curve and distribution pattern of slip were given. In addition, the yield loads, ultimate loads and stress contour were displayed. Comparing the results of FE analysis and experiment, it is indicated that the influence of the quantity and layout of studs on the ultimate load capacity is not obvious for the completely shear composite beams. The results show that the yield loads and ultimate loads of composite girders with the group stud connectors can reach higher precision by using the model adopted in this paper. |
