摘    要:夹杂物是降低铸坯内部质量的重要缺陷。增加连铸机垂直段高度有利于减少铸坯内部夹杂物的数量并改善其分布。为了得出适宜的垂直段高度,采用数值模拟方法研究了连铸机垂直段高度对特厚板坯内部钢液流动和夹杂物运动的影响。研究结果表明,垂直段高度为3.5m时,有利于特厚板坯中夹杂物上浮并良好分布。研究结果对选择特厚板坯连铸机的垂直段高度具有重要意义。

Abstract:Inclusion is an important defect in reducing the slab internal quality. Increasing the vertical height of caster is conducive to reduce the number of slab internal inclusions and improve its distribution. In order to find out the most appropriate vertical height of caster, CFD model was adopted to study the effect of the vertical height of caster on fluid flow and motion of inclusion in extra- thick slab during the continuous casting. The results indicated that the vertical height of 3.5meters is conducive to inclusion floatation and good distribution in extra- thick slab. The research results have important implications for choosing the appropriate vertical height of the extra- thick slab caster.
