| Abstract: | In this paper, the distribution of the stresses and strains in the butt weld joints, the weld joints between pipes and shells and the weld joints between flat heads and shells were analyzed. The factors to affect the strength of the weld joints were also analyzed. Then, some important points in the design of the weld structure were presented. |
