| Abstract: | In this paper, stress analysis of the spillway section of the Three Gorges Dam is made with 3-D Finite Element Method (FEM) under the action of gravity, water pressure, sediment pressure and uplift. The influence of bonding degree of the joints between fresh and old concrete on the dam body stress is studied. |
