| Abstract: | The movable crossbeam of five-thousand-ton hydraulic press is a medium carbon cast steel piece and 49 ton weight. Because the piece is medium carbon cast steel, it has quench-hardening tendency and crack tendency is quite serious when it is welded. it is much difficult to weld the heavy part. By analysis and test carefully, We have got reasonable welding procedure. And we can repair the crack successfully. |
