| Abstract: | Sulfomethylation reaction, one kind of sulfonation to attain soluble polymer, was thoroughly analyzed in this paper. The mechanism and the reactive types of sulfomethylation were also discussed. The usage of sulfomathylated products in oil field exploiting and mining, fine chemicals and leather making were put forward in detail. |
