Abstract:Based on the establishment of a differential equation of motion and the solution of the oil film whirling locus of the Journal center, a method of judging the stability of bearing is presented. Meanwhile a method of bearing parameter optimization for the optimal stability is recommended. Finally, a short journal bearing is given as an example to illustrate the reasonableness and feasibility of the method.
