A System for Textile Pattern Preparation

An intelligent pattern preparation system is presented in this paper. Its hardware is introducedbriefly. The system can be used to prepare not only patterns for jacquard but also thatof printing textile. Its feature of pattern design is that the input contours of source materialsare extracted first, then, pressed on equal slope by a computer, and stored in its reservoir. Thesystem creates patterns automaucally by means of a restrictive-random change method accordingto a mathematical model. After technological processing, the patterns created are output formaking pattern carriers.
