COMPREHENSIVE RECOVERY OF CATALYST-BEARING FILTER RESIDUE FROM OIL REFINERIES

Until recently the filter residue of the effluent from the factories of catalysts for oil refining has been a pollutant to the environment. A wet treatment process described in this paper allows the comprehensive recovery to be achieved from the residue. Using this process sodium meta-aluminate, RE metal chlorides and sodium silicate have been successfully recovered and recycled to the catalyst production line. Therefore this process seems to provide a effective approach to the complex utilization of the waste and to eliminating pollution.
