塑造滨水名城——宁波实践

概述了在中国文化中,水是一种根源性隐喻,在城市发展中起着重要的作用。从自然、历史的角度出发,认为水是宁波最动听的空间语言、城市发展最亲近的“见证”;通过对世界滨水名城的比较分析,总结出若干成功的因素及应避免的问题;在塑造宁波滨水名城实践中,以“自然、历史、自我”为主题,不断完善以水为源流为精髓(主题)的城市文化空间,以水为特色且关联的城市公共开放空间系统、以水为依托且升华的重点地段。

PRACTICE OF WATERFRONT CITY NINGBO

Water, in Chinese traditional culture, is a metaphor which plays an important role in the urban development. This paper in the perspective of nature and history indicates that water is a dulcet spatial language and familiar witness of the urban development. By comparing the noted waterfront cities around the world, it summarizes the successful experiences and issues need to be concerned. It demonstrate that in the construction of Ningbo waterfront city, with Nature, History and Selfhood as the theme, the emphasis has been paid on the urban cultural space, public open space and key nodes characterized by water landscapes.
