基于聚乙烯吡咯烷酮合成非离子型水性聚氨酯

摘    要:以偶氮二异丁氰(AIBN)为引发剂,异丙氧基乙醇(IPGE)和巯基乙醇(MCE)作链转移剂,合成低相对分子质量单端羟基的聚乙烯吡咯烷酮( PVP)。采用甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)、聚四氢呋喃醚二醇(PTMEG,Mn=1 000)为原料, 1,4-丁二醇(BDO)和三羟甲基丙烷(TMP)作小分子扩链剂,添加羟基功能化的 PVP作亲水性链段,合成了以 PVP作为非离子亲水链段的水性聚氨酯分散体。采用傅里叶红外光谱仪(FT-IR)、激光解离基质飞行时间质谱(MALDI-TOF)、凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)等方法对合成的聚乙烯吡咯烷酮及水性聚氨酯进行分析表征。结果表明聚乙烯吡咯烷酮链段可作为水性聚氨酯亲水性链段,并且合成出的非离子聚氨酯乳液具有耐电解质、冻融稳定性好的特性。

Abstract:The title hydroxyl polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP), with low Mn and single end groups was prepared by free radical polymerization,using AIBN as initiator,2-isopropoxyethanol as solvent and 2-mercaptoethanol as chain transfer agents respectively.Thenonionic waterborne polyurethane dispersions with two chain extenders,1,4-butanediol(BDO)and trimethylolpropane(TMP)were synthesized,in which a hydrophilic segment,a single ended hydroxyl functional polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) was incorporated. It was first reported to use PVP as hydrophilic segment for synthesis of waterborne PU dispersion.The polyvinylpyrrolidone and waterborne polyurethane were analyzed and characterized by FT-IR, MALDI-TOF mass and GPC.The results revealed that polyvinylpyrrolidone could be used as hydrophilic segments,improving the performance of waterborne polyurethane in terms of electrolyte resistance and freeze-thaw stability.
