The New Technology of Historic Architecture Surveying

The 3-dimensional architecture model is established by data collection with high-density using the precise electronic total-station and close-range photogrammetry. Using the 3-dimensional model the plane maps, elevation drawings and sectional drawings are developed, which are needed for architectural design. For the detail constructions and adornment patterns of the architecture, the orthophotos with scale are obtained by photo rectification, which can be measured using the software Photoshop and can be transformed into linear drawing maps using the software Auto-CAD. This technology is very suitable for the historic architecture surveying when the technical records of the architecture had been lost.
