Abstract:A propeller design method based on an acceleration potential without linearization is .described briefly. Six skewed propellers have been designed and tested for 4 different type ships. Experimental results show that the developed program has satisfied accuracy. Meanwhile, designed skewed propellers reach same high speeds as conventional MAU propellers and induced fluctuating pressures are 30% lower than conventional one.
