| Abstract: | On the basis of the experimental study on shear properties of L-shaped section columns, the shear strength formulas, in which the moment ratio and shear-span ratio were considered, and a suggested designing fomula for shear strength of L-shaped section columns are given. Comparing the computational results using the suggested designing formula with the testing formula, satisfactory agreement is obtained. |
