| Abstract: | Special report for high voltage direct current (HVDC) and power electronic (PE) technologies in 2006 CIGRE are introduced. The issues covered three aspects: new HVDC and power electronic technologies and projects, issues concerning HVDC and power electronic projects, role of HVDC and FACTS to assist system performance, and key technology in the conference. |
