Structurally Dramatic Design :Study of New Tendency of Contemporary Architectural Design

With introducing a new architectural design tendency-structurally dramatic design-shown at Shanghai Expo in 2010,the paper,based on typical case study,analyzed superb skills of structure design leading to a high quality life combining dramatic visual effect with inspiring space,then figured out that thoughts that had confined this new tendency were broken through by new structural design principles,and finally,explored historical cause,historical experience and drama aesthetic value of this design tendency.
