| Abstract: | The paper collects the data of drilling historyof 196 well-segments and the data of 65000 wellbore diam-eter in 11 wells in Dagang oil field. By analysis and con-trast of these data, the paper summarizes effects on az-imuth walk of such factors as BHA design, formation conditions, inclination angle, wellbore enlargement and so on-For formation parameters collected, the paper presentsthat dip and dip azimuth of formation can be computed byinitiation method and also gives some examples. Theselaws from actural drilli ng history have a good role in guid-ing azimuth control of directional drilling. |
