GENETIC ALGORITHM AND ITS APPLICATION

Genetic algorithm is a computational model which simulats the nature evolution procedures. As an effective global optimization tool,it charaters its simple operations,generalization, robustness and parallelism.This paper presents an introduction to GA's fundamentals, methods and features, and puts the stress on discussions on GA's major research subjects and parallel implementations from the view of its applications.
