| Abstract: | The features of the metrological backup of broadband radar measuring systems are considered. The list of their metrological characteristics includes the metrological characteristics of the narrow-band radar measuring system and the errors in measuring broadband characteristics. It is established, by comparing the frequency and time characteristics of the scattering, that it is necessary to estimate the overall error of measurements of the effective scattering cross section in the frequency domain, while in the time domain it is only necessary to describe the random errors of measurements of the smoothed pulse characteristics of the targets. |
