邻二甲苯侧链的氯化及水解合成邻苯二甲醇

摘    要:以邻二甲苯为原料 ,在催化剂二甲基甲酰胺存在下进行侧链氯化反应。结果表明邻二甲苯侧链的深度氯化受邻位甲基空间位阻的影响 ;粗产物经减压蒸馏 ,石油醚重结晶 ,得邻二 (一氯甲基 )苯 ,收率为 5 0 % ,纯度大于 98%。并考察了该产物在乙醇 /水体系中经Na2 CO3 水解合成邻苯二甲醇的反应条件 ,表明在回流反应温度下 ,乙醇 /水体积配比为 1∶1,反应 10h ,邻苯二甲醇的产率可达 96 .6 8% ;并表明乙醇起到乳化邻二 (一氯甲基 )苯及分散生成的邻苯二甲醇的作用。

Abstract:The side chains of o xylene were chlorinated in presence of the catalyst N,N dimethylformamide .The experimental results showed that groups deep chlorinatong could be depressad by the steric effect of the ortho chloromethy The crude products were vacuum distilled and then recrystallized in petroleum ether, The yield of 1,2 bis(chlormethyl)benzene was 50%.and its purity was beyond 98%. The hydrolysis conditions of 1,2 bis(chlormethyl)benzene in alcohol and water witb Na 2 CO 3 were found that at the reflux temperature, the volume ratio of alcohol to water=1∶1 and the reaction time being about 10 h, The yield of o xylenediol reached 96.68%, The results showed that the alcohol could emulsifying 1,2 bis(chloromethy)benzene and dispersing the o xylenediol.
