Evaluation of integral solar water heaters

In this paper, characteristics and mechanism of the equal section and unequal section integral solar water heaters are set forth. By comparing experim ent, analysis and evaluation for it are carried out. Through test and calculatio n, the mean thermal efficiency and transmittance coefficient of unequal section solar water heaters are higher than that of equal section solar water heaters, a nd its heat loss is less than that of equal section solar water heaters. So the thermal performance of unequal section solar water heaters is better than that o f equal section solar water heaters.
