西方世界城市理论的发展和演变综述

20世纪60年代以来,西方学术界开始对世界城市进行系统研究,经过几十年的发展和演变,已经形成丰富的世界城市理论。早期的研究主要是根据全球性特征和跨国经济合作状况界定世界城市;1980年代以来开始强调经济全球化背景下城市之间的联系,揭示城市间的竞争与合作中世界城市的主导作用,其中还包括研究世界城市发展中出现的共性和个性问题等理论。

A Summary of Evolution of the Western Theory about World City

Since 1960s,there was about tensyears that the western theory of world cityhas developed in western academic circles,and a lot of achievements in the researchhas been obtained.In early stage,the mainwork is to define the world city accordingto the global characteristic and transnationalsituation in economy.Afterwords the focalpint has diverted to the relation of cities inthe condition of economic globalization,thetarget is to reveal that leading position ofthe world cities in the competition and co-operation among cities,and to analysis theirgeneral and specific questions of the worldcities.
