Abstract: | The development in the field of computer graphics is determined particularly by the progress made in peripheral graphic devices. A graphical terminal should unite the advantages of vector with those of raster graphics; to enable the extensive use of excellent interactive techniques involving higher graphical productivity and low costs. The terminal describes fulfills these preconditions. Is is characterized by large picture structure and interactive communication capabilities at low cost. Terminals having this conception essentially serve to increase the extensive use of computer graphics, above all in the field of computer aided design. |
