全自动钻石切工分析系统的原理和应用

全自动钻石切工分析系统是一种精度高、速度快的分析系统。它利用数字图像处理技术,得到钻石投影图像的关键特征点,然后根据其坐标计算出钻石的腰棱直径、全深比、冠高比、冠角、亭深比、亭角、台宽比、腰厚比、底尖比等切工比率以及相关的偏圆度、底偏、台面偏心、台面倾斜等对称性参数。该系统可用于成品钻石的切工分级、钻石加工过程的质量检验以及作为钻石销售环节中的促销手段。主要介绍了中国地质大学(武汉)珠宝学院自主研制的全自动钻石切工分析系统的硬件组成、图像处理以及切工比率的计算、评估与应用等。

Principle and Application of Automatic Diamond Cut Measuring System

Automatic diamond cut measuring system is an accurate and rapid measuring system combined with the digital image processing.Some key corners of diamond projection image are detected by using some image processing methods.The diamond cut ratios,such as girdle diameter,total depth,pavilion depth,pavilion angle,crown depth,crown angle,table size,girdle depth and the other related symmetry parameters,can be calculated with those key corners.The hardware and software of the automatic diamond cut measuring system developed by Gemmological Institute,China University of Geosciences(Wuhan),are mainly described in the paper.
