| 摘 要： | 提出了继承层次选择表达式的概念并加以实现，使得对象-关系数据库管理系统（ORDBMS）中的SQL操作目标，得以从某个特定的表扩展到某继承层次中的表集合，另外还提出和实现了对继承层次的引用。

| Abstract: | ANGEL, a type of ORDBMS (Object-Relation DataBase Mangement System) developed by Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), still suffers from limitions on its inheritance feature. At present only one table in its database can be dealt with at one time. We propose a new concept, called Inheritance Hierarchy Selective Expression (IHSE), that can make it possible to deal with a collection of tables at one time. Section 1 explains in detail the meaning of IHSE and how to use it to make target object in Structured Query Language (SQL) capable of dealing with a collection of tables instead of just one table in database of ANGEL. Subsection 2. 1 discusses in detail how to make queries with IHSE. Subsection 2. 2 discusses briefly how to implement IHSE in Data Manipulation Language(DML). For better utilization of ANGEL software, we implemented the IHSE feature into it and thus developed ANGEL II software. |
