包覆Co(OH)2和CoOOH的球形Ni(OH)2电极性能研究

摘    要:球形Ni(OH)2表面改性可以有效地改善MH-Ni电池的性能。主要研究了球形Ni(OH)2表面包覆Co(OH)2和CoOOH以及它们的电极性能。实验结果证明,包覆Co(OH)2虽然容量比较高,活化快,但振实密度较小。而包覆CoOOH的球形Ni(OH)2不但振实密度高,而且制成的电极具有放电电压高,比容量高,活化次数少等优点。

Abstract:The charge-discharge performance of MH-Ni battery is improved through the surface modification of Ni(OH)2 active material for nickel electrode. Co(OH)2and CoOOH compounds were chemically coated on the surface of spherical Ni(OH)2 . Results show that the capacity utilization of Co(OH)2-coated spherical Ni(OH)2 increases and the tapping density decreases. However, not only the tapping density of the CoOOH-coated Ni(OH)2 does not lower, but also the capacity utilization is improved. The CoOOH-coated Ni(OH)2 powders can supply the superior performance for advanced MH-Ni batteries because of high-rate discharge capability, high capacity utilization, fast activation capability etc.
