| Abstract: | This thesis demonstrates,in combination with the design codes and practical engineering projects,that the design of a settlement-controlled composite pile foundation requires a careful comparison of a variety of design plans and naturally comes up with a gradual optimization procedure.The engineering application in this thesis also indicates it will bring upwith a significant efficiency. |
