DEVELOPMENT OF THE ELECTRICITY MARKET AND COMMUNICATIONS BASED ON POWER LINE NETWORKS

In viewing the features and the development of the electricity market, this paper analyzes the requirements of the electricity market on the communication network with the emphasis on the functional requirements, the high reliabilities and the standards of the interfaces. Based on this, the importance of the low voltage distribution network based carrier communications is introduced. The main characteristics, the basic principles and the method of the realization of such kind of communication networks are discussed.
