Theory and performance of finite formulation method for electromagnetic field numerical calculation

The finite formulation method,which is one of novel numerical calculation technologies for electromagnetic field and wave,is discussed by concentrating on its theory system and the auuracy and calculating efficiency of performance in engineering.The innovative thought adopted in finite formulation method is proved by focusing on the global variable and direct connection between the FFM and electromagnetic laws.The theory system has been and expounded and the detail calculation expressions for radio frequency wave has been narrated so that the calculation technology is demonstrated.The method's characteristic and advantage was analyzed by comparing the FFM with several kinds of current numerical method.The main technology characteristic was tested in type examples,static field in electrical machine and RF wave in scattering problem.The calculation accuracy and efficiency of this method are obviously prior to these of existing method.Further researching one the finite formulation method will give an impulse development of the numerical calculation technology for electromagnetic field.
